SWIFT SPRINGS | SPEC-R | EVO VIII-IX-X

The Swift Spec-R Sport Springs are made for true track racing enthusiasts wanting to take their Evo to the next level. Spec-R Springs are engineered with 2 main characteristics:

1. Redesign lowering ride height to maximize the suspension performance allowing the vehicle to fully absorb road condition for maximum traction.

2. Increase in spring rate to further enhance cornering speed through entry & exit. The increase in spring rate is based on the vehicle factory stock valving settings. Spec-R Springs are increased to the optimal rate that the stock shocks can handle. Higher performance shocks are not required, but recommended.

Spec R Springs are wound with the same engineering as the Swift Sport Springs. You can expect the same characteristics as the Sport Springs, with the exception of stiffer rates and a slight change in ride height.

Swift utilizes fewer coils in their design to create a much more responsive spring. With fewer coils, the chances of coil binding is eliminated and the amount of useable stroke is increased. Also, fewer coils on lowering springs will create a faster reaction speed towards any road conditions. So instead of skipping on the harsh road surface, the spring will react to the road surface as needed.

A lighter, un-sprung mass is another benefit of the Swift lowering springs. With a fewer coil design, you can expect a far lighter spring. It will take less effort for the spring to compress and rebound. Therefore, with Swift, street users or track users will experience an increase of predictability during high speed corners and straight line traction.
