Spark Tech's Pro-system was designed to fill the need for guys/gals that wanted it all: Beauty and durability.

The Pro-system features a polished or black powder coated billet aluminum mounting plate with recessed coils (a beautiful piece and lots of time on the cnc).

This system is recommended for use with Standalone ECUs, as it is a 4 channel system. (Factory ECU has 2 channels/outputs thus the Pro-12CDi is suitable). Brand New Coil on Plug High Output Ignition System.

Complete instructions are included.
- Choose from Polished Aluminum Billet Plate or Black Powdercoat.
- M&W Pro-14 CDi Box with manufacturer warranty (void if label is removed).
- Systems are wired with military spec Tefzel wire.
- Varflex Mil-spec heat sleeve to protect wiring.
- All fasteners are stainless steel allen head bolts.

Why try the Coil-On-Plug?

It improves the durability of the ignition system. No high voltage wires means NO voltage leaks and NO MISFIRES due to bad plug wires. Using individual coils for each spark plug also means the coils have more time between each firing. Increasing the "coil saturation" time (the time the voltage to the coil is on to build up its magnetic field) increases the coil's output voltage at high rpm when misfire is most apt to occur under load.


We used this ignition in our Evo VIII and pushed the stock bottom-end 4g63 motor to countless 10 second 1/4 mile passes with a best time of 10.04.
