If you're tired of the bulky battery under the hood and don't want to go through the hassle to relocate it in the trunk, then this is the kit for you!
It replaces the oem sized battery with a much smaller and lighter unit. The battery is mounted on the subframe down and out of the way for more room and a clean look.
Please note that this kit is geared towards the hardcore DSMr's as you will have to remove several items (like the charcoal canister, oem tray, and other misc stuff) to make room for it.
The mounting bracket is CNC machined from 1/8" thick aluminum and utilizes 3 mounting points. The battery tray is CNC machined from 1/2" thick aluminum, then TIG welded to the mounting bracket to hold everything in place. To top it off, the battery tie down is CNC machined from 1/2" thick aluminum and is engraved with the JMF logo. The tie down is polished to a mirror finish at no extra cost to you.
*Please note: these batteries are not intended to power vehicles with larger stereo systems*
Small batteries can fail if the posts are not torqued to 50 inch pounds! Additional torque will cause damage to your battery, so please be careful when installing.
