Comp/Zex cams, with increased lift over the competition, all three of these Evo cam sets "squeeze down" the base circle duration and open the valve more quickly than any other camshaft available. The quicker lobe ramp speeds and extended lift cycle deliver quicker turbo spool up, generating more power and torque.
Despite the increase in lift and lobe ramp speeds generated with each of these three camshafts, COMP engineers were careful to make certain to reduce intake charge blow through netting more area under the curve.
