The Brake Man Rear Brake Pads are available for the OEM Brembos (Evo & STi), Willwood calipers and the F1 Tornado calipers.
#1 COMPOUND: DRAG APPLICATIONS
The Brake Man's own proprietary #1 compound. Pre-cured, does not require bed-in. Developed specifically for drag racing; they offer a huge increase in static brake torque and do not require heat to function properly (under 500°F). Linear application with a high Coefficient of Friction (.65 approx). Available for Brake Man F1 & F3 Tornado Calipers.
HIGH PERFORMANCE STREET PADS
For the toughest conditions, these can increase pad life as well as offer an increase in stopping power. Low noise and dusting makes these pads perfect for spirited street driving.
This pad is much more stable and longer lasting at high temperatures than other compounds. Very rotor friendly with an outstanding wear rate. The coefficient of friction is high (.56) and friction gains as temperatures increases up to the maximum of 1500°F+. This compound can also be used in lower temperature applications where the driver prefers a high "tip-in" or initial bite.
#3 COMPOUND: ROADRACE & AUTOCROSS
For those severe duty conditions encountered on all cars being run on hard braking tracks, or cars being driven by drivers whose style demands the most from the brake system, we have developed a pad that can handle temperatures including the glowing red rotor conditions, (up to 1200°F+). At the same time, the coefficient of friction stays high (approximately .48) and is very consistent throughout the temperature range. This pad is perfect for asphalt applications.
