STM did a Dyno test on these rotors and found that the less rotational weight will actually MAKE power! Throughout the entire powerband we saw +12 HP and +7 TQ!
Pictured is the Front and Rear Rotor for Evo VIII-IX.
Weight:
Baer Front: 15.8 vs stock 17.75 = 1.95
Baer Rear: 11.75 vs stock 14.45 = 2.70
9.3 pounds of rotational weight savings.
EradiSpeed-PLUS rotors are also a direct OEM replacement, however the "plus" indicated rotors that are of a 2-Piece design. An EradiSpeed-PLUS hat is CNC machined from billet or forged aluminum and anodized black. The hats and rotors are joined with NAS (National Aerospace Standard) the same hardware used in Indy cars. With a 2-Piece design, EradiSpeed-PLUS units provide a welcome reduction in total rotor weight.
Features:
- 2-Piece (aluminum hat and iron disc) rotors provide LITE direct replacement for OE applications
- Also direct replacements
- Increased mass in the "firepath"
- Curved vane directional Design
- Employ an aluminum hat or hub/hat to provide a lower total weight
- NAS stainless hardware
- Feature zinc coated surfaces.
- LITE is Baer's Trademark denotes "Low Inertia-Thermally Efficient" two-piece rotors used in various Baer offerings.
