The AMS Evo X Intake Fan Shield prevents the erratic idle that can be caused by the A/C fan when using our Performance Intake Pipe. We found that the hot air from the A/C fan can influence the Mass Air Flow Sensor causing an erratic idle on some cars.
This shield blocks the hot air flow from the A/C fan for a smooth idle when operating the air conditioning. This high quality piece is made from lightweight 5052 aluminum construction and is black wrinkle powder coated for long life and an OEM look.
