Now, she's on a 2.0 Buschur block, full cage and parachute. With the built motor, 9's have been no problem. So far 9.2@156 is the best, but we are still looking to send this gorgeous show-winning street car into the 8's! Cory's 96 TSI "EvilTSI" This car is another testament to the 4g63 motor as Cory had a best time of 10.94 @126 on the stock 7-bolt block in 2008! This car has been undergoing a twisted makeover. A front-mounted turbo set-up should show those hoosiers who's boss! Updated pictures of the build are up. Austin's 92 Stealth R/T Austin's car has been in a major overhaul since winter. Previously this car went a 11.9@114 giving it the fastest stock turbo, pump gas record. This year, it is going on a serious body diet, along with the carbon hood and hatch and an ingeniuos new design to delete the miles of intercooler piping these cars are notorious for! Stay tuned. Chris Cessna's Evo RS Chris' car is quite simply one of the many wonders of the world. We've taken this 04 RS with a no-nonsense approach and set a goal for a stock-motor, stock appearing turbo running 9's. After many low 10 second passes (including a 10.002!) we finally pushed it with a 9.99 @ 140! This is the first ever stock bottom end 4g63 to run a 9! Mark M. 06 Evo IX RS "Lana" Mark's gorgeous IX is all about business! He set his goal during this build to have the fastest stock-turbo-powered Evo... and he got it! On 6-11-10 he ran a 10.6 @ 128. STM put a very unique design into this E85 powered engine bay. Looks like it's working out! Justin R. 05 Evo VIII RS Justin's beautiful RS is now running the new STM Tubular Manifold with a PTE 5557 and AEM EMS. He was at 413 HP and 333 TQ on 93 octane, but we just retuned it on E85. Using all the existing parts from the build, we got it up to 446 HP and 383 TQ! She is begging for more fuel now! Stay tuned. Chris McCarty's Evolution VIII This car recently took a big step forward in the stock-block-power category! Now running our STM Forward Facing Kit with a PTE6262 turbo, this car is now the stock-block, Evo Dyno Queen over here making 519hp/428tq! Track times are still to come, but for now, this is one serious street car! James' 04 Evo VIII James' car is another testament to just how awesome the Evo really is! Another stupid-fast stock-block Evo running low 10's... on PUMP GAS! This car is running the STM forward facing 35r turbo kit and recently drove his car to the track, ran a 10.2 @ 137, then drove her home. Making over 500 WHP on the stock motor, this car was letting the rest of the world know how it's done. Mike F. 90 Talon TSI AWD Mike's clean 90 is another, local E85 STM tuned car. Making 364hp/364tq on our Mustang dyno, Mike recently knocked off an 11.1 @ 123! His daily driven 10-second "pump-gas" goal is within sight. Oh yeah... stock bottom end 4g63 too. Stay tuned. Khary's 2003 Evolution VIII Khari's Evo is another beautiful, Rochester car. He recently saw 320 whp and his car ran an 11.5 @ 119 on the stock turbo and an STM ecu flash. Not bad Khary, and we love the new wheels! Stay tuned as the pictures and numbers are updated- as we all know we see Khary at STM every Tuesday! Brandon's 2004 STi Brandon's project is just beginning... He was at the track with us all on 9-9-09 and with 283 TQ and 266 HP he drove his car to see a 12.5 @ 108 with a cat-back, downpipe, mbc, walbro and STM tune. That's about $900 in parts and already he is #14 on the fastest stock turbo STi list. The new set-up includes Brake Man Drag Brakes all around... Stay Tuned. Dave's 2005 Evolution VIII Dave's car has been running one of our first custom made STM tubular manifolds for a few years now. With a 35R and AEM EMS, he's making 408hp and 304tq and sees some very respectable low 11 second passes at the 1/4 mile on his daily 93 octane tune. Jesse's 96 TSI AWD Recently AEM tuned, Jesse's stock block, full weight TSI broke into the 11's on 93 octane with his 30r. We have never met a kid so full of energy and love for the DSM's! Such a positive influence on the community! Keep it up Jesse. Nick's 97 GSX Nick and his whole crew are among the coolest people to come out of South Carolina! We are honored to have him and his wife, Robin, representing STM with their GSX down South! Scott's 99 GSX Scott's build here at STM is turning out to be a purple powerhouse! His AEM / 35R / Punishment Manifold combo is already seeing 407 HP on 21 psi and 93 octane! His car is in need of a clutch and his new ClutchMasters FX600 Twin Disc just arrived. Scott was at the track and he ran an 11.3 @ 126... Just needs a little more practice on the launch. Currently we are building up a fresh 6-bolt for this car... Stay Tuned. Mike Cronin 03 Evo VIII Emery's brother, Mike, owns this stock turbo Evo. Pushing close to 300hp, Mike and Khary have been chasing each other week after week on dyno runs! Stay updated as the pictures, videos and upgrades get posted. Ricky's 98 GST Ricky is another local DSMer holding it down for the FWD guys in his purple-powered GST, spinning his 278, 16G powered horsepower all over Rochester. His next step is an E85 conversion. Love that carbon hatch, Ricky! Mark's 03 Evo VIII Mark's retired, red Evo was definitely a terror on the streets and at the track. Running the stock turbo (along with a lot of other stock parts) this car saw a best of 11.0 @ 124 with the AEM tune, 100 octane and spiking to 28 psi. Mark got his wish for 10's, however, with the white IX above! STM Open House and Dyno Day 7-11-10 This was our first Dyno Day at our new shop in Avon. Despite the 90° temps we still had an amazing turnout and a great time. Thanks again to H. Hots for catering the event and to everyone who stoppped by and helped out! IDRC Sport Compact Nationals 5-30-10 Presented by Motovicity, Buschur Racing and D-Sport Magazine, this drag race event featured everything from an 8 second Supra to 10 second SRT-4s to street legal 9 second Evos! STM had 2 cars at the Event (Ricer and Chris' 04 Evo RS), both ran consistent passes and both came home with a first place award for their class! STM Open House and Dyno Day 4-11-10 We have over 100 pictures from this event! We probably had 300-400 people thoughout the day! Thankks to everyone who helped out and Henrietta Hots for catering the food! STM Open House and Dyno Day 8-30-09 Pictures from one of our open houses! We had a great turnout and probably saw 250 cars throughout the day. Thanks to everyone for their help and congratulations to John Hu for winning the hot dog eating contest!! Epic Motorsports & Fatetteville DSM/Suby Shootout 11-15-09 We had a great time in Fayettevile, North Carolina and it was an honor to have the Ricer make it's first pass on the new Buschur motor down their 1/4 mile! The Ricer saw a few 9 second passes, Cessna's Evo broke into the 10's and Scott's GSX trapped nine, consecutive 123-125 passes. The guys at Epic Motorsports were more than welcoming at their Dyno Day on Saturday! Thanks for all the help and we sincerely hope to see ya'll soon! Street Car Shootout 9-13-09 This is the Second Annual Street Car Shootout sponsored by STM, Rochester Racing, Living Color Tattoo and many more! This event is open to any and all street cars running a license plate, registration and inspection! Settling the King of the Streets battle once and for all at the track with a head's up pro tree and cash in hand to the winners! 2009 Buschur DSM Shootout - Norwalk Ohio We had a great time at the DSM Shootout this year. STM was first line at the track and up at the butt-crack of dawn! We didn't have our drag cars out running this year but alot of our crew drove their cars the 5-6 hour trip. Austin's Stealth may have broken the stock-turbo 1/4 record and Shawna's 99 GSX made the trip on E85 the whole way. James and his Evo even came along with his STM front mounted turbo set up and small radiator. Videos will be up shortly, so for now... enjoy the pictures! The first 3 runs we had a problem with the coils, but after fixing the problem we got 2 back to back runs in of 10.1@142. Stock 4g63 motor- The head has never been off the block.
